FAQs
The pet portrait on the pendant looks so realistic. Is it printed or hand - painted?
The pet portraits are not printed. They are 100% hand – painted. All customized items in the store are made solely by Yimi. To ensure the highest degree of resemblance of the pet portraits, there are no other assistants. Yimi’s extraordinary painting talent and skills can perfectly capture the delicate fur and lively eyes of the pets. Each piece is a unique work of art.
What materials are used in Yimi's Pawfect jewelry?
The main pendant is made of natural mother – of – pearl. Each piece has its own unique texture, luster and color. Yimi’s Pawfect meticulously paints the portrait of your beloved pet on this small surface with delicate brushstrokes.
Accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, ring settings and ear posts are made of 925 sterling silver which meets international standards. It has a solid texture and is less likely to cause allergies. Silver has been a classic material for making jewelry since ancient times and it will never go out of style with the changing trends. A well – maintained silver ornament can be a memento that accompanies you for a long time, carrying the beautiful memories between you and your pet.
Will the hand - painted pet portraits on Yimi's Pawfect jewelry fade? How long can they be preserved?
The hand-painted pet portraits are created using resin-based pigments, offering excellent colourfastness and safety for long-term wear. A light-cured resin top layer is applied to protect the artwork and help it stay in its best condition over time. To keep your jewelry looking its best, please avoid wearing it during exercise, as abrasion or impact may damage the surface and affect its lustre.
Like all jewelry, its longevity depends on how it is worn and cared for.
How should I maintain the silver parts?
Silver jewelry may turn yellow or dark over time due to exposure to air, sweat, cosmetics, etc. This is not a quality issue but a normal oxidation reaction of pure silver. Please rest assured that the oxidation of silver jewelry is by no means a permanent damage; it’s just a kind of “game” between silver and air.
- Isolate from Chemicals: Remove your silver jewelry before bathing, swimming or soaking in hot springs. Put on the jewelry after skincare products, cosmetics and perfume have been fully absorbed.
- Minimize Sweat Exposure: It’s advisable to take off your silver jewelry before exercise. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth promptly after sweating.
- Clean and Maintain Promptly: In daily use, wipe fingerprints and stains off the silver jewelry surface with a clean soft cloth (such as an eyeglass cloth or a special silver – cleaning cloth). In case of slight oxidation, gently rub with a small amount of toothpaste, then rinse with clean water and dry.
- Store Properly: When not in use, place the silver jewelry in a sealed bag or jewelry box separately to keep the storage environment dry.
How long will my order take?
To ensure the high – degree resemblance of the portraits, Yimi painstakingly crafts all Yimi’s Pawfect works alone, without any assistance from other workers. As a result, the number of orders Yimi can take each time is limited. So, you generally need to wait 1 – 2 weeks for Yimi to create your jewelry after you’ve successfully placed an order and are in the queue.
Once the artwork is completed, it will be shipped to you via Free International Shipping. The estimated transit time is 10 – 15 business days after dispatch. However, this may vary depending on your location and customs.
Please note: These are just estimates. Delays can occur during peak seasons or due to unforeseen events. Thank you so much for your patience!
Can I return or exchange my piece?
Yimi’s Pawfect would appreciate your understanding that customized items are non-returnable.
